Founder
Jimmy Mendoza
He brings a calm, approachable presence that instantly makes people feel at ease. From the very first interaction, he builds trust through genuine conversation and a deep respect for each volunteer story.
His passion for connecting with people and creating experiences that inspire, is the very reason he founded Peru Volunteer & Travel.
Fluent in English and Spanish, he moves effortlessly between cultures, always with the same warmth and dedication. And, of course, he loves starting his days with a good cup of coffee.
Executive Director
Luciana Furio
Combining organization and a friendly approach, she makes sure everything flows smoothly at the organization.
She supports volunteers, clients and coordinates with the team, and ensures that everyone feels motivated and confident in their work.
She loves what she does because it allows her to help travelers & volunteers plan unforgettable experiences while fostering a positive and harmonious environment.
Outside of work, she enjoys discovering new places, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Karol Luna
She deeply believes in the power each person has to transform reality and is grateful to accompany them on that journey. She considers herself a reliable and approachable person, always willing to help when someone needs it. Her vocation stems from a desire to see others grow, feel supported, and discover that together we can achieve things that seemed impossible.
Outside of work, she is an animal rights advocate and also cares about nature, promoting sustainable practices by minimizing negative impacts and supporting biodiversity.

Gelman Cerrillo
With a passion for adventure and a deep knowledge of Peru.
He ensures that every journey is carefully planned, offering guidance and support so each experience feels seamless and memorable.
He loves connecting with people and sharing his expertise, turning every trip into an authentic exploration of culture, nature, and local traditions.
Outside of work, he enjoys sports, exploring new destinations, and spending time outdoors, always looking for inspiration to bring back to travelers.

Arny Samaniego
He drives the brand’s communication strategy, shaping campaigns, content, and experiences that reflect the essence of our journeys.
His approach blends analysis, creativity, and a genuinely human perspective, ensuring every message conveys clarity, emotion, and trust.
He’s motivated by turning ideas into stories that truly connect. He studied Communication Sciences and found in digital marketing a space where he can create, design, and communicate with purpose.
Outside of work, he enjoys video games, sports, and those simple moments that spark new inspiration effortlessly.

Nadeshda Alata
Nadeshda is one of those people who speaks with a sweet and warm energy. She supports project communications, shares real stories, and helps ensure that every volunteer feels supported through information. She loves her work because she enjoys connecting with communities and demonstrating how every action can make a difference. Outside of work, she loves Peruvian food and is head over heels in love with her cat, Calvin, who is always a topic of conversation (and photos).

Andrea Mendoza
Andrea is one of those people who speaks to you calmly and makes you feel supported from the very first moment. In her daily work, she takes care of the team with a personal touch and, when necessary, guides the volunteers: she talks to them, answers their questions, and makes sure everyone feels welcome and treated equally. She loves her job because she enjoys connecting with people and fostering an environment where everyone can support each other and grow together. Furthermore, she deeply values teamwork without discrimination, a quality that makes her both humane and dedicated.
