As anyone who has been to Peru will say, there is a dire need for a program to help with the immense amounts of street animals, namely dogs. At Peru Volunteer and Travel we can no longer stand idly by, something has to be done for these poor animals.
We are pooling together our resources to create a street animal volunteer project but we need your help! We are desperate for volunteers, donations of any kind or quantity, ideas and a location where we can care for these sweet, forgotten animals. Please help us to help these harmless animals. They need you and so do we!
If you come as a volunteer in the Animal Care program you will be helping us to organize this desperately needed program. This will include networking with small organizations that would like to help these precious dogs, donation raising, location searching, and whatever else we can do to get this project in top-notch shape. We need volunteers who are innovative, motivated and willing to take initiative!
