  26 Million people
• Area:
  1,285,215,60 km2 of jungle, mountains and coast.
• Language:
  Spanish and Quechua are the two main languages.
• Economy:
  Peru's economy is based on natural and industrial resources. In recent years the Peruvian economy has vastly improved.
• People:
  Almost 45% of the people of Peru are indigenous and about 37% are mestizo (indian and spanish mix). 
• Money:
  The Peruvian currency is the "Nuevo sol."

Volunteering in Peru

Objective:
To enhance the standard of living of thousands of Peruvians by helping children and adults that are in economical, physical, mental, and emotional need by giving people of all ages and nationalities the opportunity to volunteer and travel in Peru at affordable prices.

Misison:
To organize volunteer projects, housing, accommodations, meals and tours for volunteers while maintaining low prices and high customer service   so volunteers can get the most out of their time here in Peru.
